"You Be the Bone Doctor" Homework

Here are some websites that will help you determine how to answer the questions about Jimmy's fractured ulna.  Don't let the big words scare you!  Research the epiphysis and metaphysis to find out what has happened to the bone.  You are a "doctor" so YOU CAN DO IT!

http://kidshealth.org/parent/general/aches/b_bone.html- Broken Bone Information

http://www.sports-injury-info.com/salter-harris-fracture.html- This is the fracture scale.

You can receive extra credit if you describe each of the different types of fractures on the back of the sheet!
