Frog Dissection Time!!!

As a review of the body systems we have been studying, we will be doing frog dissections this coming week.  You must be prepared to identify the parts and describe their function within the body as you dissect. You can do one of these practice dissections over the weekend to prepare.   Online Frog Dissection

Also, don't forget to have your "Nervous System" Page in One Note completed.  You are to find as much information as you can on the nervous system.  Don't forget to look up NEURONS.

These last few weeks of biology are going to be filled with lots of information!  Think Fast and Furious!  You can do it though, so work hard and Study Angry!  :)

Plant Kingdom

We germinated our seeds, watched as our cotyledons sprouted, and now our plants are flowering!  As we pollinate our plants, it is time to hypothesize whether your plant's offspring will be purple stemmed, green stemmed, hairless or hairy!  Pollination takes place the week of April 7th.

Reproductive System

So far, we have learned about cells, the skeletal, muscular, skin, and circulatory systems. We can't forget about the most amazing human body system, the Reproductive System!  It's how YOU got here.  You have learned that bacteria reproduce through binary fission and your body cells clone themselves through mitosis.  However, most animals reproduce through sexual reproduction.  So, here is where you will learn about the male and female human anatomy.

These Web pages are good resources:
